Annapurna Center
Situated at about 13 km from, VARANASI City, “Annapurna Center” is the second project of "DISCC". This center was established in 1995 to cater to the needs of poor, rural women and the girl child. The main objective of this rural social club is to make these women and girls confident in their own self, to make them understand about preventive and promotive aspects of health and to train them in some culturally tailored vocational activities, At present there are twenty girls and married women who come at the social club and learn various social activities .The center is managed by an Educated women from the same village.
Cultural program, Health Camps, Skill-Training workshops etc. are organised from time to time for their benefit
