A preparatory Centre for providing Basic Education to Socially Deprived Children
Gangotri is the name of the place from where the Mother Ganges originates in Himalayas. This preparatory school is situated below a tree near the banks of river Ganges.
The school provides education, confidence, health and hygiene skills to the kids who had no previous experience of any school. It mainly stresses on ‘Value Based Education’ through story telling and games and tries to bring the best in them. After looking at the motivational level of the top scorers and good students of the school in education, they are shifted to a better school .All the educational requirements including school fee, study material and school dresses are provided free of cost. Time to time, parents meeting are also held to motivate the parents.
